Annual Meet & Greet

The Delaware Federation of Housing Counselors had their first annual meet and greet. Two of the Founding members were in attendance, Gladys Spikes who is the Executive Director of Housing Opportunities of Northern Delaware (HOND) and Bernice Edwards who is the Executive Director of First State Community Action Agency.

The event was held on February 25th and had an amazing turnout at our Annual Meet & Greet. We had over 50 attendees. There were representatives from $tand By Me, Central, Sussex and New Castle County Habitat for Humanity, City of Dover, Clarifi, DCRAC, Department of Justice, Diamond State Community Land Trust, Delaware State Housing Authority, First State Community Action Agency, HOND, Housing Alliance DE, HUD, Interfaith, Milford Housing, NeighborGood Partners, Neighborhood House, New Castle County, USDA, YWCA, and Legal Service Corporation of Delaware.

We all learned about the amazing work that these agencies are doing and how we can utilize their programs to better the lives of Delaware residents.
